Ms Rusa Bhowmik is an academician by profession. Like everyone, her schedule was hampered due to the Covid-19 crisis. She was struggling to cope up and found hope in an unexpected way.
Ms Rusa Bhowmik seems to be an upcoming face in the new age writers. She started writing poetry during her teens. Her anthologies ‘Rookie’s Poetry’, and ‘Chaos and Causality’ gives us a glimpse of her teenage and early twenties in a nutshell. She refers these as the “lost and found diary saga”. She explains that finding her lost notebook filled with poems during a cleaning spree was what kept her afloat during the Covid-19 crisis.
In her own words, “it was mostly my unfulfilled decade old wish, but now I would say even more than that it was because now when my students come up and ask a lot of questions or share their experiences, I realise that I wasn’t the only one who had difficulties, may be not the exact same, but similiar in a lot of ways. So, while teaching and guiding my students, at the end of the day their struggles taught me to own up all my previous difficulties, and face it.”
This saga is a walk down the memory lane. Indeed it reminds and refresh those memories. No doubt, it is a token to cherish or gifting it to a friend in crisis. Now, available in Notion Press and Amazon.
